Project Management Unit (CPEC-ICDP):
BOI looks after the management of the industrial work being carried out with China, falling in the second phase of CPEC. It will facilitate the project organization, attract more and more investment, and progressive era geography in general. This comes after a 2018 agreement to strengthen economic ties and help drive growth.
Project Director:
He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the office setup at the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Reform. The assignment provides challenges related to potent organizational management and high-level coordination. The assignment requires ample relevant experience along with a complete understanding of development projects and more so CPEC.
Responsibilities:
- Establishment and operationalization of an office for CPEC.
- Liaise with the Chinese counterparts for the smooth processing of all the CPEC projects.
- 3: Support ministries in developing concept notes and project proposals.
- Facilitate, coordinate, and oversee the execution of CPEC projects that come under the agreements between Pakistan and China.
- Identify CPEC project-related risks and propose mitigation strategies accordingly.
- 6: Liaise with public and private groups to disseminate information about CPEC activities widely.
Qualification:
Must have a postgraduate degree in administration, engineering, finance, economics, or related fields.
The Head of the Secretariat shall be an influential elder with experience in high-level management, and examples include
- Management of professional teams, and facilitation of problems relating to CPEC.
- The company deals with complex projects and works together with the government.
- Establishment of active relations with the main actors-public and private.
- The candidate should have 10 to 15 years of proven senior management experience in either government or private sectors. 5. Be a motivated and proactive manager. 6: Lead big teams; solve complex problems. 7: Communicate well and be on good terms with others.
